Unstable Connection

Connectivity issues can occur for many reasons:

• Weak or broken device connection

• Unstable signal connection

• Low reception (e.g. playing in an underground metro tunnel)

• Low performance device

• Server downtime and app maintenance

When there is a connection issue, the game will display a warning sign. The game will continue to run and attempt to regain connection, but this can affect gameplay.

If you see a message saying "Client and server are out of sync!", it means that your device is not synced with our server, which usually happens when your internet connection is unstable.

For the best playing experience, it's important that you are connected to a reliable network and that your device's signal is strong. Full wifi bars or mobile (cellular) data coverage alone is not always enough to guarantee a solid connection, since local networks can slow down and get overwhelmed at times. This is especially true if you play in a moving vehicle or on underground public transport.

As with any other online service, we recommend playing over wifi with a good internet service provider, or at least a solid 3G/4G/5G connection with a reliable carrier.

If your connection isn’t the problem, try:

• Making sure you are playing the latest version of the game

• Closing any apps running in the background

• Clearing your cache

• Restarting your device

Clash of Clans: You can still deploy Troops in a battle after losing connection, however, the game will only register Troops deployed before the connectivity issues occurred. The battle will continue only with Troops you deployed before the connection issue. If you regain connection, you can continue the battle.

Clash Royale: You can’t deploy cards when a connection issue occurs. The battle will continue and your opponent can still deploy cards.

Brawl Stars: You will be replaced with a bot when you lose connection in a battle. You will not receive Trophies if that bot goes on to win the match. If the match ends in defeat, you will lose Trophies. If you regain connection before the match ends, you will get control of your Brawler again.

Boom Beach: Deployments and battle actions will not be registered after a connection issue occurs in battle.
